Generation Scotland, the largest family health study in Scotland, has introduced a new compensation scheme for young people aged 12-18.

Our current generation of young people are facing unprecedented challenges, from the lasting effects of the Covid-19 pandemic, the climate crisis and rising living costs being amongst many. These all impact young people’s physical and mental health in ways that have not been experienced by previous generations.

Generation Scotland is one of nine projects to receive funding from Research Data Scotland (RDS) to support public engagement in data research.

Eva Drummond presented with British Citizen Youth Award Medal of Honour

Eva Drummond, one of our Loneliness Study Young Person Advisory Group members & Generation Scotland Young Advisors was presented with the British Citizen Youth Award Medal of Honour at The Palace of Westminster by Alison Bond, BCyA Schools Programme Lead. Eva was nominated for the award by our own Sarah Robertson, Youth Engagement Lead for Generation Scotland.
