Over 25,000 people have taken part in either CovidLife, TeenCovidLife or RuralCovidLife. Their support has helped us to begin understanding the full impact the pandemic has had on people's mental health and well-being.

As time goes on, we want to understand how people are feeling and coping with the impact of COVID-19 long term. We share our results as widely as possible and encourage researchers to use our data. Our results can help support future research and inform and influence health policy.

We've created a series of reports summarising how people have been affected.

CovidLife

We invited people across the UK, over the age of 18, to take part in the CovidLife survey. We've brought together the results of the first 14,000 volunteers, who were asked about how the pandemic had impacted their life. The survey included questions on education, mental health, well-being and more. You can see a summary of the main findings here:

TeenCovidLife

Similarly, we invited young people aged 12-17, living in Scotland, to take part in TeenCovidLife. We wanted to know how the pandemic had affected their school and home life. Over 5,000 volunteers took part in the first survey and another 2,000 took part in our second survey. You can find the results from these surveys below:

Last, but not least, RuralCovidLife was created to understand how COVID-19 measures affected the health and well-being of people living in rural Scottish communities. The questions were tailored and designed by people from rural communities. We did this to make sure we asked about topics relevant to our volunteers. The survey was taken by over 3,000 people and our results can be found here:
